About
Thank you for visiting my art portfolio. I’m Ken Hunter, an artist currently exploring the expressive potential of graphite pencil. While I’ve worked with oil, acrylic, and watercolor in the past, graphite allows me to create striking black and white imagery with a precision and emotional depth that feels both timeless and personal.
My background is a blend of creative curiosity and technical thinking—I hold a master's degree in Cloud Computing Architecture, which subtly informs the structure and composition of my work. I’m especially drawn to the beauty of objects—vintage cameras, retro technology, and the form of things we often overlook—and I aim to capture them through a modern lens using a classical medium.
Having lived in places such as Portugal, Germany, Japan, and throughout the U.S., my art is also shaped by travel and observation. These experiences inspire me to create pieces that reflect not only the objects and scenes I encounter, but the quiet stories they carry.
