These original works are part of my current series, which explores our visual history and the objects that preserve it. Vintage cameras, photographs, and other meaningful artifacts serve as reminders of the moments, people, and stories that shape our lives.

Each drawing is created using a combination of graphite pencils and powdered graphite. By grinding graphite into a fine powder and applying it through various techniques, I am able to achieve rich tonal ranges, subtle transitions, and a depth that extends beyond what pencils alone can produce. Many pieces also incorporate acrylic-painted backgrounds, creating a distinctive contrast between realism and color.

Most works are created on premium watercolor paper chosen for its durability, texture, and ability to hold multiple layers of graphite. Finished pieces are presented using a variety of archival mounting and framing methods, ranging from museum-quality matting and framing with conservation glass to custom-mounted wooden cradle boards with handcrafted wood frames.
